Appointments

We offer care by appointment only. If you wish to make an appointment, including complimentary evaluations, please call our office during the above working hours, and we will be more than happy to assist you in making any necessary appointments.

Our office works hard to accommodate all of our patients’ busy schedules and it is important to us that our patients miss the least amount of school and work as possible. To ensure fairness and consistency in scheduling, we have developed a schedule that allows the majority of your routine appointments to be either before or after school or during your child’s lunch period. In order to provide you with the most opportunities to have your regular appointments during non-school and work hours, longer appointments (such as when braces are placed and removed; appliances are delivered; impressions are taken; and brackets are repaired) that require more attention from Dr. Williams may be scheduled during school and work hours.

Late Arrivals

It is possible, however, that your appointment may need to be rescheduled. It is important that Dr. Williams and his team have enough time to complete all procedures scheduled for each appointment. Our “on-time” philosophy is a way that we show our respect for our patients’ time.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

Missed appointments result in longer overall time in treatment. We understand some circumstances cannot be avoided and that you will occasionally need to reschedule. As a courtesy, we ask that you call our office at least 24 hours in advance so we can offer your appointment to another patient. If you do need to reschedule, it is possible that our “primetime” morning and after school appointments may already be booked during the weeks that you are due for your appointment. It is possible that you will need to schedule during school hours.

Emergency Information

One of our goals is to ensure your comfort during your orthodontic treatment. If you are in pain or uncomfortable, please call our office immediately so we can make an appointment to see you. If your appliance or one of your brackets breaks, please call our office to schedule an appointment so that repairs can be made. Those appointments will most likely be scheduled in the morning, as they require more attention from Dr. Williams than a normal adjustment. In order to prevent broken brackets, it is important to follow all instructions regarding what food can and cannot be eaten during your orthodontic treatment.
